I went down to Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park on Friday to do a little camping with Cory and his family. Here are a few pics from the event:

I recently got a shipment from http://www.scitoys.com/
Among the cool toys were:
a drinking bird:
a wicked cool magnifying sheet(fresnel lens) that I used to burn a hole in a piece of paper in about 30 seconds
and some rare earth magnets with some ball bearings
I made a linear accelerator with the magnets, but it didn’t work as well as expected. I need to try again
