And so I arrived this morning in D.C. at 7am. On the way here I took a few photos on the plane and throughout the day, traveling in Virginia and Maryland, I snapped away. The sky is so big here and without the smoginess I’m accustomed to in Utah, it seems much, much brighter. So enjoy… Any favorites?

i love the plane pictures of course!! and i love the pictures of the trees..very beautiful..and then i saw the slots picture.. LoL. you make me laugh. oh how it makes me long for such adventures myself.

My fav is the “street I grew up on” shot; it looks like a tiny slice of heaven - divinely surreal!

I think I like the tree shots–moving from the west to the (south)east was (is) very strange and key among that was (is) the trees! It’s very alien to drive down the highway surrounded on all sides by trees as far as you can see.
I also dug the “street I grew up on”…having taken that shot myself, it’s strange when nothing has changed. Or perhaps in your case it did? I wonder which would be stranger.
