That’s the noise my oatmeal made as it exploded all over the inside of the microwave. Clearly, I’m experiencing cosmic resistance as I try to improve my health.
What did you eat for breakfast?

Proper cooking requires a bowl and stirring often. A cup, while it appears to hold more, does not suffice.
I recommend a bowl, a spoon, and stirring.
Don’t put the spoon into the microwave while in operation, unless it’s a plastic spoon, or spork.
i like the word, “spork”
Myself? I had oatmeal, with honey and bananas (highly recommended). But I didn’t make it in a cup. Why a cup?
i used a cup because I was running late for a conference and needed breakfast on the go. a cup full of oatmeal fits nicely into a car cup-holder.
on a related note, I’m starting to regret not cleaning up that microwave mess right when it occurred. I wonder what happens to oatmeal left out for a day or two? i suppose it just gets petrified…
